Fantastic Route - Tunnels Greenway, Bath







Here are two photos I took of some of the SPARINTER running club members in the Tunnel ready to run!

We had a great time trying out this run tonight. It was really dark on the way there and so getting the tunnels was really exciting as they were all lit up. We will definitely be doing this run again. Highly recommend it. However, make sure if you are running at night you take a torch and have a running buddy as its very dark until you get to the tunnels.

Nike+ Running app



For those of you with a Smartphone I really recommend downloading this app. It is available for iPhone and Android phones. The Nike+ Running app is free; tracks distance, pace, time and calories burnt with GPS, giving you audio feedback as you run. It also automatically uploads to nikeplus.com where you can see your runs, including your route and elevation.

2 Tunnels Greenway, Bath



The Two Tunnels Greenway is a four-mile walking and cycling route which runs from Bath to Midford through two disused railways tunnels and across a viaduct. This will be an exciting route to try out for tonights run; the tunnels are illuminated and so a great place to run during dark evenings!

At SPARINTERS we have mentioned that it would be a great idea to get hold of a gadget to measure performance.
